The Premium Prize Bonds Scheme is a registered prize bond scheme initiated by the Central Directorate of National Savings (CDNS), parallel to the existing National Prize Bonds Scheme. Unlike the National Prize Bonds (bearer), Premium Prize Bonds are registered in the name of the investor. Investors receive a six-monthly profit on their investment at a government-notified rate, in addition to eligibility for prize money in quarterly draws, subject to compliance with shut period requirements.
